The Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that elevate our brand presence and engagement across various platforms. You will work closely with our Marketing, PR, and Customer Experience teams to ensure our voice aligns with Amazon’s values and resonates with our diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall social media strategy for Amazon to attract and engage our target audience.
- Manage and oversee social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and other social media management software.
- Create compelling content for all social media channels that reflects our brand voice and engages our community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to ensure our strategies are innovative and effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotions, and other initiatives through social media channels.
- Engage with our community on social media by responding to inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and authentic manner.
- Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts across all platforms.
- Drive social media advertising efforts, including budgeting, targeting, and performance analysis to maximize return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media strategies.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and performance tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
